Raids Dropping Badges Ruins Raid Reforms.

Everyone who reads this knows what I'm talking about. You go to reform a raid to continue the next night and get about 15 of the original 25. Ultimately you wind up calling it because finding an additional 10 players to get saved with bosses 1-4 dead in ICC is like pulling teeth. Healers and tanks in particular as as difficult as ever to find.

I have no issues grinding badges to earn my gear but it is my opinion that such a core grinding component has no business in our raid environments. This does nothing but create a raid atmosphere where the only raid worth joining is a fresh raid that hasn't been touched yet. I would blame guild mates for a lack of willingness to raid but is it really fair to expect them to cough up 10+ badges just to be a part of progression? Currently the raiding system feels kind of broken overall to me for this reasoning.

Compared to the days of Burning Crusade one could argue its almost impossible to find willing substitutes in today's raid environment. I don't personally have a solution to this all I know is it needs to be fixed.
